The Federation of German American Societies is a non-profit organization that adheres to the Constitution and common good of the United States of America.
As the area's umbrella organization, the Stadtverband provides a forum of cooperation for its 16 German-speaking groups in Greater Cleveland. In partnership with these organizations, the Stadtverband organizes events that emphasizes the pride and value of our rich and varied German heritage. The German-American Festival features authentic German music, dancers, food, and beverages for everyone to enjoy, as well as activities for the kids. This event is an opportunity for our local groups to generate revenue which will be used to help sustain them throughout the year. All proceeds will be used to produce the festival and assist in sponsoring future events celebrating German heritage.
